Date: 06 February 2010 - 14 February 2010
Made in heaven is an exhibition during National Marriage Week 2010 that celebrates marriage across the faith communities of Greater Manchester. The communities involved so far include Anglicans and Roman Catholics, Hindus, Jews, Muslims and Sikhs.
The Exhibition will be launched on Monday 8 February at 7pm, at which the Bishop of Middleton and other faith leaders will be present. Also at this event will be the Lord Mayor of Manchester and other civic leaders.
A Thanksgiving Service will be on Sunday 14 February at 3pm with the Bishop of Manchester and other faith leaders together with Mayors and Mayoresses from surrounding areas.
Events during the week are being planned, including on Thursday 11 February at 7pm a Question and Answer session chaired by the Archdeacon of Bolton.
During the week each morning at 11am we hope to hold half-hour forums with different speakers including faith leaders, counsellors, support services, etc.
Please do support this venture and help us to proclaim the value and importance of marriage across all our communities, giving stability and cohesion to life in the wider community.
