Mothers' Union members took part once more in the Annual Manchester and Salford Procession of Witness. The service in Albert Square was led by member, Dean Rogers and the address given by another member, the Canon Precentor Gilly Myers. Bishop Mark gave his blessing and sent everyone forth to 'serve the Lord'
Many members walked with their respective churches but those whose churches no longer take part in the Walks took branch and deanery banners to walk with other members from around the diocese.
The event was attended by the Lord Mayor of Manchester and the Mayor of Salford, as churches from both cities came together in this the 211th Walk of Witness.
