Using the examples of Moses, meeting God in the burning bush, and the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Bishop Chris challenged his listeners.

Once more Father Richard Lindsay had invited Mothers' Union members in the diocese to share the Eucharist at St George's Mossley and invited Bishop Chris to preach and preside. (The Hebrew lesson was thrown in!)

Are we (you) ready to respond to God's call with "hineni" - "Here I am"?
