Bishops join Mothers' Union

Bishop Chris and Bishop Mark were admitted as members by Bishop Nigel, at the annual Festival Service in Manchester Cathedral on October 5. With all those members present, they reaffirmed their baptism promises, promised to uphold and support the beliefs and vision of Mothers' Union, and to continue to plan their life to include prayer and Bible reading and worship in Church - a promise which Bishop Nigel assured everyone he would make sure they kept!

Both bishops have accepted the invitation to become patrons, with Bishop Nigel, of Mothers' Union in the Dioocese of Manchester.
