Reuben Cook from Broughton charmed the audience at the Evening of Celebration when he took to the stage to describe how he raised £114.50 for the Mothers' Union relief fund.
Reuben set about learning the names of 198 capital cities. In the space of two weeks he learned 125 of them, and through sponsorship contributed a handsome sum to the Bishop's Lent Appeal for the people of North Kivu in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
So if you want to know the capital of Burkina Faso or of Tanzania, Reuben is your man! Congratulations to Reuben. And remember, everyone, the capital of the DRC is Kinshasa!
