As members and friends gathered in Manchester Cathedral for their annual Festival, they were delighted that the Archbishop, a fellow member, had time in his very busy schedule to celebrate with them.

"Lift high the cross" resounded through the building as 83 branch and deanery banners were processed; eventually encircling the building.

The service, with the theme "The Cost of Relationship" was led by the Bishop of Manchester, also a Mothers' Union member. Bishop Nigel led a prayer of rededication in the faith of Christ to the ministry of members in this diocese.
