Members of Mother's Union, together with members of the clergy, are at the UK Wedding Show at Manchester Central this weekend, chatting to couples about their plans for marriage, helping to put them in touch with their parish church and providing literature to help with choosing hymns and readings for the marriage ceremony.

In partnership with the diocesan Communications Office, new resources have been developed to support members who want to take part in local wedding fairs. There is a range of beautiful pull-up stands for the display and attractive literature to give away.

We hope that each Archdeaconry will hold a wedding fair, and that deaneries may run their own too. A tips and advice session will help you to prepare for the event.  Perhaps you could suggest a venue for a local fair. Please contact Judith Hilton.
