‘Thank you’ to our members, who at our Council meeting donated £60.90 to Martin Holding the son of a Mothers’ Union member in the Diocese of Wakefield who ran the London Marathon to raise funds for The Mothers’ Union Family Life programme in Uganda. Martin’s mum writes, ‘Martin is overwhelmed with the support from Mothers’ Union, money is rolling in and exceeds £700 with more to come’. Martin completed the marathon in 3 hours 30minutes.
