As part of the country's Jubilee celebrations, St Crispin's Mothers' Union decided to hold a Jubilee cream tea, complete with spam sandwiches and scones with jam and cream. Members also had liquid refreshments apart from a cup of tea - trying Pimms and lemonade and also Bucks fizz. They all got a shock when they turned up and HM Queen Elizabeth was looking out of the window as if she was waiting for them!

The photograph was taken by our own important guest - Jack St George aka husband of Archdeaconry President, Sandra Bradshaw.
