Mothers' Union themes
The theme for 2013 is 'The Seeds we Sow' - 'Help us Grow'. Following our Achdeaconry Roadshows lots of resources to 'Help you Grow' are available. www.themothersunion.org. Help us Grow leaflets which include an invitation and The Seeds we Sow booklets detailing the praying, campaigning and enabling work of Mothers' Union worldwide can be ordered via the website or by telephone. 2013 Appeal - Wheels Appeal....
Lets get Baking! and raise as much as we can to allow Mothers' Union Community Development Coordinators (CDCs) to work within their own and neighbouring communities transforming family life through relevant grassroots activities. Just some of the ways they do this is by organising training and encouraging self-help projects for communities, even for those who live in the most isolated areas. By organising a Wheels Appeal Cake Bake you can help Mothers' Union provide assistance to our CDCs by paying them salaries to help them support their families and assist with travel costs to make the journeys faster and safer. This year members from around the globe have contributed their local recipes and more will be added over the next weeks so that you can hold a truly Worldwide Cake Bake.
What the unit does
The Marketing Unit exists to promote the work of the Mothers’ Union through our Cymbal magazine and the website. Resources are available to support various appeals, Make a Mothers Day and the Wheels Appeal. We promote Families First and encourage members and non-members to take a subscription to this magazine which has interesting reports to stimulate and encoourage.
We have a number of Mothers’ Union display stands, promoting our work including marriage and these are available for loan. They can be used at events around the diocese.

A monthly resource to help you
The Marketing Unit at Mary Sumner House produces each month a simple poster which neverthless would be effective on your church or hall notice board. Why not take advantage and promote Mothers' Union through its work.
