President is announced

It was announced at the Festival Praise service in Manchester Cathedral this evening that for the triennium 2013-15 Catherine Hilton will serve as the new Diocesan President.
Cath, who is currently a General Trustee, will be supported by four Archdeaconry Presidents, whose names were also announced in the Cathedral.
Sandra Bradshaw (Manchester) and Carol Eyles (Salford) will serve a second term of office. Two new Presidents will serve from January 2013. They are Christine Faulkner (Bolton) and Marion Ball (Rochdale).
Please pray for Cath and her team as they look forward with excitement to the challenges ahead.
